Ann Beth - Santa Barbara Landscape and Abstract Prints

These Fine Art Limited Edition archival pigment prints on canvas are signed and numbered by the artist. Ann works both plein air and in her studio to create award winning paintings of the Santa Barbara area, and non-representational paintings. She approaches a canvas with an initial concept--one with varying degrees of clarity, and then it becomes a process of moving paint around to see what develops. The forms emerge in a dynamic, interesting way. There's a sense of capturing an unseen quality in the landscape or with abstract paintings, building forms around a felt sense. To her the truth in a landscape is in the moment; its in the dynamic of changing light, shadows, reflections and weather.
